All of a sudden, a girl with pink hair, glasses, and headphones walked by and sniffed the air.
"That`s Typhon`s eldest daughter, Maya. She may look innocent, but in actuality, Sancia`s a very deceitful and ruthless person." Bianca whispered. "Why does she need glasses?" Noelani asked. "It makes her look innocently cu-." "She`s a full monster, dearies. Her mother`s a naiad." Sam interrupted. "Who`s Typhon?" "Noelani, he`s the god of natural disasters." Sam replied. Maya was holding a dagger in her left hand and a spear in the other. "Dearie, we`ve never sent children of very minor gods like you because the last one that came...She never came back or got branded." Sam muttered. "What was her name and godly parent?" Noelani inquired. "None of your business." Sam stated with a sad tone with her typical Cajun accent. "What does branding mean?" Noelani asked. "Dearie, whenever a child of the gods is accepted, that god magically brands a tattoo on their arm." Sam stated, showing off her honeycomb tattoo. "Wouldn`t that be illegal?" Noelani asked. "It`s invisible to mortals." Sam mentioned. In a trice, Noelani felt painful, like someone was stabbing her on the arm, which it was. The magic formed a wilted plant that to Noelani smelled like peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Sam and Bianca were drooling, while the magic seemed to have no effect on Maya. Noelani pondered, Weird. "Yummy," they yelled in unison. One of Maya`s allies summoned a thorny plant while the other one sent flaming bricks towards her. The scent stopped mysteriously. "What are these demigods` godly parents?" she asked. "The indigitamenta!'' Sam yelled. "Indigi-what?!" Noelani said while slashing the thorns and leaping over flaming bricks. "In ancient Roman religion, the indigitamenta were lists of deities kept by the College of Pontiffs to assure that the correct divine names were invoked for public prayers." Sam called. "Is your mom an indigitamenta?" Noelani inquired. "Yes!" Sam responded. A bullet was flying straight for her friends, so Noelani dodged the bullet, changing its trajectory to who shot it. Sam dodged the obstacles with such agility, Bianca fighting courageously with her fireplace poker, and Noelani punched the bricks, thus changing their trajectory with strength. Unfortunately, the villains were way too strong. As Sam shot Maya with a bullet, it flew towards her. Noelani figured a way. If they could defeat an empousa, they could defeat 3 demigods. All they gotta do was formulate a strategy.
Hmmm.. Guys, I got this!" Noelani expressed verbally. An arrow shot Sam, who was bleeding and lighting a match. "She`s dying," Bianca yelled while putting some yellow cubes in her and Sam`s mouth. "I know! Maybe we can defeat them with teamwork!" Noelani positively replied. As Sam grabbed her gun, Bianca with her poker, and Noelani and her sword, they yelled, "PIZZA HUT!" in unison like banshees. Sam blew a strand of red hair from her eyes. Noelani slowly drew out her sword and accidentally hacked Bianca`s arm off. ''ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" she yelled. "I`m sorry at least." Noelani told her. "How nice." They went back to fighting. Maya dodged most of their attacks. "H-H-H-H-HOT!" Maya screamed in disappointment. Sam, still bleeding, fainted and turned pale. Noelani rushed to her aid and gently stroked her head. Bianca walked and fed her glowing honey. "It`s nectar." She said. Noticeably, Sam`s skin faintly glowed. Sancia precisely shot an arrow at Sam`s chest, which made her skin lose its glow. "She`s the weakest," Bianca told Noelani. "Why?"
Noelani questioned. "I think you know why." she responded.
Noelani recalled their time with Sam. She`s strong. Weakest. Obnoxious. Tactless. Vain. "I`ve got it! Her hamartia is vanity." Noelani remembered. She snatched Maya`s sword and put it in her backpack. "Thanks." Noelani said sarcastically. Using the karate moves she watched in movies, she battled Maya fiercely. No doubt, the girl was very formidable. "I can`t hold this much longer!" Noelani said while panting. Maya was a fast lady. Noelani strangled her and wrestled with her. "Uh-" Thorn Girl and Brick Woman asked while getting scorched by Bianca. Sam commanded bees to sting Maya. That must hurt. Man, I wonder where she got that cool scar. she thought. Noelani internally chided herself for being distracted. She lunged, ran, and leapt all while kicking Maya and piercing her throat and did a grande pose. Maya, still wounded managed to fight her. "Not so strong, eh?'' Maya jokingly said in a British accent. Noelani blinked for 1 second. Not so strong, eh? the voice echoed in her head. Noelani tossed a bottle of ointment at her head. "Ow!" Maya said. Noelani felt the blade of a sword touch her skin. It felt piercingly cruel. Noelani stabbed Maya. Maya transformed. Wings grew from her back, and her fingers turned into talons. "Stop." Noelani told the narrator. And then Noelani went back to fighting. "Whoa." Noelani said. Maya`s sidekicks were making hand gestures that Noelani couldn`t decipher. Maya in harpy form whispered to the girl with thorn powers. The girl approached Sam. She had curly hair and freckles. The girl whispered to Sam. Sam told Noelani. "She`s our ally." Sam whispered. Noelani mused and went back to fighting. Sam, still bleeding, fought bravely to save herself and the people around her. Noelani, despite having no knowledge on battle except for movies, continued fighting tirelessly. She hoped that they`d win. But Bianca`s legs were hacked off by the brick-thrower. Noelani fought like a crazy bulldozer. Maya transformed into a humanoid (since she wasn`t truly human) form and battled Noelani. Noelani and Maya fought seemingly endlessly. Both girls fought to the death. Noelani attempted to kill Maya, but stopped. She didn't have the courage to make her goal happen. Was she really the hero she was? Noelani was getting tired. She raised her sword and swung it at Maya. Both girls started to fight. Maya did a war cry in some weird language that was probably made up. Noelani fought the whole night to save everybody. She only mimicked the moves people did in movies. Anyway, both of them fought. Finally, after a few minutes...
