Lydia felt..odd. "Are you-" Ethelinda remarked. "No!" Lydia opined.
The two went out of what Ethel`s father called Obisnuitning katta darvozasi (he was Uzbek-Egyptian).
A whole forest was there. It looked...unprecedented, as if nobody went there before. Not even the local prognosticator, Arnaude Charmandros did not go there. The trees looked quite decrepit. "That tree needs to be venerated." Lydia bowed and averred the words "I promise to look after this tree." Ethelinda didn`t know why a pink glowing tree would need such approbation, but she bowed and uttered solemnly, "Promit să am grijă de acest copac." The girls calmly perambulated towards the tree. A small insect flew around. But it didn`t look like a true insect though. Possibly some idiosyncratic new species, mayhap? Either way, Ethelinda took a peek. It was a fairy! "Hi, I`m Acantha Aikaterini Berenice Charis Damaris Efterpi Fanouria Grigoria Helaine Ismini Jocasta Kriti Lois Melba Nerin Odessa Pamela Rania Selena Thimothea Unice Voleta Xenia Zafiria Ravdi, your typical fairy godmother from Nafplion. But just shorten it to Acantha Aikaterini Ravdi, `kay?" "That`s quite lengthy, don`t you think?" Ethelinda questioned. "Fairies usually have long names." Lydia replied. "What`s Nafplion?" Ethelinda catechized. "It`s a city in Greece." Acantha replied. With a wave of her wand, ciorba de perisoare and Turkish delights appeared. Ethelinda sipped the soup and took a bite. "Do fairy godmothers have limits to their powers?"
"Kinda," Acantha answered. "For example, fairy godmothers always need to live with their godchildren." "Who are your masters?" Ethelinda inquired. "Oooooh, my previous one was a Chinese-Filipino princess. She kept complaining a lot." Acantha acknowledged. "And she also was obsessed with fairytales and teddy bears." Acantha answered. Ethelinda munched.
Lydia brought out a map and said the words, "Magic, magic, take us there, make us go to the world of the unaware!"
The journey awaits...
